One of the books I have describe custom throwers for spear throwing where you weight the back of the knife... I should dig that out. Justin's blades seem well suited since you can easily pull the micarta off!
Yeah. I threw the RD4 a little, knocked the G10 off center, had a heck of a time getting the handles off, then stripped one of the brass fittings putting it back together. Ended up being able to back off the other side and then catch some threads. So I called Justin and asked him to send me a couple fittings and bolts. Then I took the RD7 out, threw it a couple of times, had a bad hit, and popped a bolt clean out! Good thing I have a couple on the way.
After all of that, I decided to cord wrap!!
