I wish I could justify the cost of all the bussekin swords, but I just have to be honest with myself that I really wouldn't use them.
They aren't "practical" blades, but there's more to life than just practical. It also depends a lot on one's responsibilities and financial situation; I certainly don't consider myself rich, but I make good money for the cost of living in my area, and a confirmed bachelor (I don't think I'd be satisfied with any woman who'd be satisfied with me) with no kids (just a dog named Whoop), so I have enough discretionary income to indulge myself.
Haha...amen, Jim. I do "try" to stay practical...but who the hell are we kidding? I also agree to your analysis of financial situations...everyone is at a different point in their life, and even those that are at the same level (of income) make different choices on how to allocate their finances. Some blow it...some save it...some moderate....takes all kinds to make this world go round. I'll stop now, before I start preaching my views on why our economy is in the tank...
Jim...I think you're my hero <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Enjoy the small indulgences brother...it's the taste of success from all your hard work! My dad always tells me to "stop and smell the roses"....it's good advice, otherwise all the hard work is for not.
Have you posted pics of Whoop? I can't recall...
Beautiful steel! Have you had a chance to use any of the Scizzy's?
