A VERY special thanks to Dan Busse, without whose help the knee replacement
could not have taken place. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Dan and Patti DID indeed supply 2 blanks of CNC cut,Busse heat treated
SR-77. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
The surgeon supplied the specs for the tibia and femur chunks that hold the knee in place. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

While the "knee socket" is not SR-77 both the supports that will take 20 years of abuse are indeed SR-77. Without Dan making that happen I would have some crap 440C inside. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />

The recovery day 2 I have my sense of humor back. And I should.
Morphine pump,Dilaudid pills,Oxycontin 80Mg. 2x a day. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

They had to come to this just to control my pain. This knee is a constant 7-8 on the 1-10 pain chart. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I CAN however walk up to 50 feet from my room before heading back. No more catheter. Should have called it Skeletor for the pain it cause while in me.

PoP appreciates each and every post here. I made [censored] sure to read them all twice! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Thanks and God bless all.

Peace.
