So the Parang did OK huh? Looks liked the CS sucked hind tit.
OK isn't the word- she is a beast! Weighs as much as my Honda Fit though! The hawk really didn't do bad at all. I haven't had it out forever and this brief test didn't do it justice. It bites DEEP! My pics are terrible, but I think some lines are visible showing how much it penetrated. If I could have dedicated 20-30 minutes to each tool, I think it would have finished in the top 2-3.
The Condor surprised me! Again, photos don't do it justice, but it hung in nicely and that wood is some hard stuff. Nice handle like the BR helped it I think. I was waiting to roll an edge and it did't happen.
The Koyote needs more evaluation. After I was done chopping, I did a little wood shaving/feathering and wood was falling off like meat on a bone. Christof's grinds are real interesting- convexed, but almost looks like a hatchet, and justs eat wood. The man knows woods blades! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
Thanks for the comments guys. After this winters' storms, nice to get out a little!
