For outdoor use, I like knives with handles. The Skeleton handled ones are fine for desk knives or light duty, but for harder use, I need a handle. For me, the handle on a knife is almost as important as the blade. Knives like the Mud Puppy can be used for hours without hand fatique. And this new Rodent Solution is right in there with that fine knife in comfort. It's about the same size as the HCLE and the MPLE.

For me, it's like a Swamp Rat version of the ESEE-3, but with a better contoured handle, upgraded steel, and thicker stock. Lucky for me, I already had a leather pouch sheath that fits the new Solution just fine.

Hats off to the swamp, for making yet another little knife that big guys can use.
