Got mine today too. Quite a bit different than the ScrapMuk, or at least more so than I thought by comparing specs/pic. IF I had to choose one, I would go with the ScrapMuk as there is no comparison (for me) when it comes to the "in hand" feel of the two knives. That being said, I look forward to this years hunting season to give it a workout and see how the edge holding stands up that that of the ScrapMuk (which completely blew my mind last fall on my buck).
I will say that the Busse Muk is the prettier of the two, and it seems to have a much "deeper" belly while that of the SM's is "longer" (not sure if that makes any sense at all). Also, without actually using it to be sure, I would say that from the looks/in hand, the "choil" of the BM is more likely to get hung up on a hide than the "un-choil" of the SM...a BIG +1 for the SM for the way I use a knife like this.
Although it certainly doesn't feel this way, the BM puts my fingers much closer to the cutting edge than the SM. all in all, I am glad I got one...now to figure out what I need to sell to be able to keep it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
