Having survived and regained a normal healthy life from my own bout with prostate cancer 30 months ago I am uniquely qualified to talk and council Gary on this matter.
I have written him a letter already that I am sure he will take hold of and reach out.

It is God's grace that falls on you
May it surround you in his Holy light
Let it be ever present in your mind, body,and spirit
May the suffering Christ made for you, comfort you in your hour of pain
Knowing always you are never alone but loved and cared for like a child
Living in this light let the healing begin
Be content in the knowledge you will be fine,this is only science
There is one who loves you so much he died for you
Realize your life,love, and happiness is and will be intact
Understand in your heart that you can do anything
As in all things this too shall pass
Envision the day when it is over and your heart soars in laughter, freedom and health
Feel the warmth of God's grace and love on you daily,for He is always with you
May God guide and guard you
May he comfort and keep you all the days of your life.
