you know there are some people who will sell a reasonably priced dogfather i put one up for 180 on ebay i only asked for what i had into the knife itself 140 for the knife and then 40 for the custom work i had done which was a real sharpening and blueing job on the blade after it had been stripped. boom watch the sucker go on ebay went up to 317 if the guy pays his bill by next week ill be sending it off to Cali. The thing that amazed me the most is that i offered it at 180 to someone to buy free and clear and they passed after i wouldnt budge on my price which i thought was more than fair. i guess the moral of the story is when you see them for less than 200 you should get em while the gettin is good. eventually these will become so rare they will be just impossible to find but i find comfort in the fact that i can buy one of these knives and use it to my hearts content and either keep it if i love it or sell if i dont like it for the amount of money i have into them and then some for the purchase of a new knife that i have found to be better. The only other thing i can say is you gotta hit the blade shows and gun shows they are still floating around. the knife store i work at purchased 5 dogfathers at knob for like 150-200 a piece from individuals last fall.
