I really need to try one of these soon. How many rounds do you go through?
I would like to use my .22, but it is scope-only. I have an AR with irons that I would consider trying out.
I shot somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-450 rounds over a two-day course.
My two Appleseeds (2007-2008) consisted of about 30 M1A, 10-12 AR-15, 4-6 M1, and maybe 2-3 .22's (mostly 10/22).
Given the cost of factory centerfire ammunition these days, I would guess that the .22 is much more popular than ever.
