You know after looking at the pictures again I personally like the looks of the one with the choil better. BUT I would rather have (If I could afford it)the choil less version and would modify it this way.
Take a Chainsaw file and file a half moon circle at the junction of the plunge line and the squared off section, taking the metal out of the cutting edge. This would allow for sharpening the entire edge all the way to the end.
I agree with you on all counts. I'm going to go with Choilless just to have something different. Maybe I'll send it to you for an ill choil <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
