I have to share this !

I've had my SRKW Chopweiler for a number of years now and through the winter months it see's daily use making kindling for my woodstove. With the cooler weather approaching I decided to bring it from upstairs down to it's winter spot near the stove.
Anyway I decided to chop down some old palms with it before placing it in it's winter spot, palms are obviously nothing to a tough knife. After cutting the palms I cleaned the blade and decided to touch it up on the bottom of a coffee mug, in my years of having this knife I have never sharpened it. After a few strokes on the mug I gave it the post it test, it sliced the post it's
very cleanly so I decided to give it the arm hair test. Now let me repeat that even after years of constant use I have never sharpened this blade other than on the bottom of a coffee mug, it still shaved hairs along most of the edge !!!

If that isn't proof of the Busse family heat treat I don't know what is !!!!!
