I had a great day in the woods this AM. It was overcast, rainy and cooler than normal. This doe had the drop on me and would not let me go. I had a few deer come in but this one had me pegged for an over-sized green grape on a not so leafy part of the tree. She was watching me like a hawk waiting for me to flinch. She spooked a nice buck and two other doe's. I was trying to will her to move on but she would not budge, so much for my powers of subjection. With her standing still she got the attention of the others just hanging off not allowing me to pull down on a nice six pointer. After giving up on me she moved towards my left side and out just over twelve yards. I let loose my ceder arrow with woodsman broad head, had a nice clean pass through. I decide to bring out my Rodent Solution and I love this knife for field dressing and EDC. This blade was just the right size for inside cleaning. I'm Looking at buying a belt sander and getting a nice convex edge on my War Dag and giving it another pass with me on my adventures.
