"I can't tell for certain, but it looks like the top two Chicago screws are holding a piece of folded kydex to the back of the sheath. If this is the case, put your belt or a similar sized piece of wood where the belt goes and heat and press the kydex around it. Then drill two more holes in the back piece of the folded kydex clip where the Chicago screws are"
Thank you Jarhead for your reply and this is exactly what I was planning to do, I just did not want to cut a brand new piece of kydex if I did not have to. The 1 piece I had was only about 4" long and I wanted to get a quick feel for if I could actually make a belt loop which has become apparent that I can, I just need a longer piece of kydex next time. If I make another 1 of these to sell i will definitely make it with the updated more secure belt loop. I REEEEALY like this piece and am quite happy it came out as well as it did.
