Personally, I haven't chopped with any of my Bussekins -- I also own a lot of Himalayan Imports khukris, but I always grab the same CAK when I need to chop downed limbs; I bought it used, so that's my designated beater. However, I've heard nothing but good about SR-101. Many say that it's essentially as tough as SR-77 in real world use, but holds an edge better. If allowed to rust, SR-101 tends to pit more deeply than SR-77, but they're both very tough steels.

I passed on the Rucki because I already own three Scrap Yard Scrapizashis, which have specs that are close enough to fill the same role for me. I'm sure you'll like the Rucki though; someone brought one to show at the Golden Manor/Knob Creek pre-sale, and everyone seemed to like it. FYI, Swamp Rat also generated a lot of interest with an upcoming "War Hawk" model at the last Blade show; you may want to be on the lookout for its release:
