Congrats on scoring a WarDog. It's a classic blade from the day ithey shipped. I don't have one but it is on the short list.

I don't have any specifics on sharpening or the tang build but I'm sure you will find some good stuff if you search the forum. Theres also plenty of good folks here that will be along to give any info you might need.
