A sad thing for me is that before I found Bussekins, I had already been collecting knives for a while, but without much focus. I have several plastic storage tubs full of Cold Steel, Camillus Beckers, Ranger, Ontario, Helle, Kellam, Iisakki Järvenpää (I went through a Puukko phase), Hanwei, Mcusta some old Westerns, as well as many other brands -- some are even cheap Chinese $2 or $3 disposables -- they all just take up room.

I was also seriously into Himalayan Imports for a long time, which is why I'm not on the "call for a khukri" bandwagon -- I've already got dozens of HIs that I (as a suburban non-outdoorsman) don't use except for one CAK to clear storm damage. Essentially, I have everything from swords to pen knives more than covered, so it makes little sense to keep buying, but I do. I probably wouldn't get away with it if I had a wife and kids, but I'm single with low house payments and a car that's paid off, limited only by my somewhat weak impulse control.
