Today's hike was my idea of perfect, fresh snow on the ground, temps a few degrees below zero, distance just enough to give me a workout without killing me. If Mrs Pit could have joined me it would have been even better but you can't have everything eh !!!

I've posted this before but for any that missed it, I like to attach a duct tape parcel to some of my knife sheaths containg some PJB rolled in fatwood dust.I find that in bad weather these are easy to pull off and get a fire going quickly rather than opening your main kit up and getting the contents wet.
