how does it compare to a busse kin steel blade?
There are only a few knives that I've extensively used that I have full confidence to save my life, or to get me out of an emergency/survival situation and those are the Busse Group of knives and Backwoods Knives. Bill and I have beat the crap out of many of his designs and they have all performed way beyond my expectation. Bill's heat treat is excellent, but the main difference between his and Busse-Kin blades is that Bill uses 1095. After thrashing hickory trees, both the BR and the Backwoods chopper sliced through paper.
