Ish, you will regret not getting a 911. I don't often say that about any offering, but the really large knives aren't as common as everything else and are more heavily sought after.
I understand the frame of reference, but don't really consider whether something is desired by the market as my own measure of "need".
I sold my B-11 (after quite a bit of use), and my BattleRat (kept the B-11 instead)....primarily because they were too "heavy" for my purposes in the field. I couldn't clear a trail with vines / thickets / thorns everywhere worth crap with the B-11. Chop a tree...sure, but I don't need to chop trees on a regular basis. They are both great knives...but just not sure the big ones fit me.
I'm loving the machete at the moment (and not a huge one...only 12"). Fits my needs very well when paired with smaller 4" knives. Maybe I'm just weird, lol. Maybe I'm just making excuses because all of my money is going to diapers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
