I haven't been in the yard a lot lately for a very good reason.Yesterday my wife gave birth to a 10 pound,10 ounce baby girl, who is 22.5 inches long.

My wife made it through 25 hours of labor with no meds, to be followed by 11 hours of assisted labor. All of this eventually ended in a c-section. But mother and baby are safe. She is the biggest baby in the NICU.

I have a beautiful new baby whom well call LittleLapDog and I have a new hero. My wife is the most courageous person I've ever met. I am truly blessed.

p.s. Did I mention less than two weeks ago my wife was swimming 1000 to 1200 meters 3 to 4 times a week.
