Just checking to see if there would be any interest in a boot knife from the Scrap Yard. There's no shortage of threads about people's dream big blades (khukuri, parang, golok, MOAD, etc.) but I rarely see any about smaller knives that people would like to see from the Yard.

I think a full guard is necessary to keep it more in line with the traditional style. Maybe a scaled down Regulator handle or War Dog handle with a full guard.

For the blade I would prefer the dagger style that's common on most boot knives, with a false top edge to keep it legal in most areas. I could also go for a small pointy Bowie shape too. I think stainless would be better suited for inside the boot/waistband carry, satin 154cm would be king here. Oh, and no finger choil. If a sharpening choil is necesssary then make it snag free.

How about some input from the rest of the dogs? Is there any interest at all? Personally I would buy two and sharpen the top edge on one of 'em.

Comments please.
