I never knew about the Bulldog regulator either, until I got a 6.5 regulator from LAST year and another dog here had a couple bulldogs and wanted another 6.5 regulator (Basically a six and a half inch regulator instead of the standard seven and a half inch one). The 6.5 just didn't feel right in my hand,whereas the Bulldog balances and feels great to me.
