A few weeks ago i purchased the Work Sharp sharpening system and have gotten to use it on a bout 5 or 6 blades and one camp axe. First off i do not have room for a full size belt sander set up and the kit is no bigger than a normal shaving kit so it makes it very portable. It has two different guides with different degrees for kitchen- scissors - and knives- and with taking the guides off and rotating the head of the unit you can use it on mower blades- axes- or garden tools. My yard keeper just barely fit in the guide as well as the S&W camp axe but was still able to put a shaving edge on both tools. i still plan on using my spyder co sharpener for routine edge upkeep but for rounded edges- nicks- or re profiling i think the Work Sharp will be a handy portable and useable tool for your sharpening arsenal. I did use a lesser grade knife to practice with my frst attempt and all turned out well i do suggest reading the directions before use. It may not be the next best thing but for those cramped for space and needing portability it might just be what you need. As i use it more i will keep you updated on it's progress.
