Does anyone know for sure what steel these are out of? I was told at Blade they are SR101, but I've also heard they are 12c27. Anyone know for sure?
Back in June Jerry posted the first pics of the bootknife. The steel was Sandvik. It may have had a number to it as well, but Sandvik it is.
I only know Sandvik as a saw making brand...
