I lived there for six years. If you've never been there I recommend visiting Pearl Harbor and maybe Diamond Head Crater then staying on the windward side (very beautiful) as much as possible. The leeward side (Honolulu and Waikiki) is WAY too populated in my opinion.

I would love to go back and visit.
