I just edited the original post in an attempt to generate a little more discussion.

Most of my current sheath options can be cleanly divided into two categories: custom kydex and SpecOps Combat Master. However, with my recent acquisition of several Busse Combat blades (without sheaths) I'm rethinking my options.

I ordered a couple of Savage leather sheaths made to my specifications for my NMSFNO and Fat ASH-1. However, these are specifically for "casual" walking about in the local State Park, etc.

I'm trying to decide what to do for my hard-core survival gear. I've contemplated a leather wrapped kydex and even custom made cordura wrapped kydex, but am looking to see what you all have come up with.

Lets see some sheaths or at least hear about them!
