I have a work sharp. What I have a hard time understanding is how different steels take remarkably different edges. I have a S5le and a S5. The LE in Infi does not take an edge, but the s5 in sr101 is now one of my sharpest knives. All my S30V and 440 takes a killer edge, but my bench made M2 blade won't sharpen well. Weird.

I know it's probably my technique as well but, I just cannot figure it out. But, I really like it for the blades it does sharpen well. Or I should say that I can sharpen with WS.
