Just got a couple of my MOADs a few days ago and I couldn't be more psyched!!

This thing is a monster and is everything I could ask for and more. It has tremendous power for chopping, yet is nimble enough for de-limbing and trail clearing. It is massive, but by no means unwieldy and the balance point is perfection. The 1311 is a Hybrid that excels at the tasks it was made for - chopping and machete work.

Since it's rainy here and I live in the city without any vegetation, I didn't get too much of an opportunity to test it out. I did get the chance to take a few fallen limbs and chopped them up. My first swing was at a branch approximately 2" in diameter and the MOAD destroyed it in one fell swoop. After that, I chopped a few bigger branches and the MOAD blew away my expectations. I can't wait to get out into the woods and bash this beast some more!

The B-11 is still a fantastic blade and I will definitely keep using it; it is INFI after all, which means a lot when you may not be able to sharpen the blade for a while. The Dogfather(s) will be the blades I carry when something shorter is more comfortable and appropriate and when I need more of a chopper rather than a hybrid. I will have to do some comparisons because the Dogfather with a good edge is a monster chopper due to its heft. I think all three blades have their strengths and will all see use based on the scenario.

Below are some obligatory pictures of my favorite Res-C choppers:
