IF you can carry two, Just get a 911 and a 4-5 incher. The 711 would work, but if you are taking two, why not have the extra two inches of blade. I think I said the 711 and a 4-5 incher earlier, but I meant the 911 if you are packing two knives. Heck you could even go down to the 311 and still have things covered.
I should clarify. If / when I carry two (most of the time)....the 1311/Machete and B04/CABS would get the call. I'm not really looking to offset the 1311 and/or Machete.
Granted, i cannot say that I never would take the 7-8" with a 4" blade...just not a replacement o the longer choppers as a primary chopper setup.
