Watching some videos my brother sent me about making a bow, I started to think--who here has made and shoots their own bow? I think I may give it a try and see how it turns out. If nothing else it will be quality time in the woods, messing with something and it will get me away from the gun headace out there right now.

When I was a kid I had a little bow my PaPa made me, but he has been gone for a while now. I think I remember where he would go and get Osage Orange and
Bouis d'Ark so I may make a trip out there and see if those trees are still standing.

Any advice?
