The hump that some complain about fits my hand perfectly. I put liners on mine to increase thickness of the handles. Mudders are just a little to small. The rounded choil vs the squarish choil is way more comfortable. I prefer a wider blade. I do like the Ratmandu, and in some ways the R4 is similar to the Rmandu, so it may not be right for you, but is definitely my preference.
