I do like the look of the 411, and hope to get one when when it (hopefully) becomes available soon. However, while it appears to be a good knife, it's not ideal for bushcraft. The blade is too thick and a bit too long, and the square choil is apparently for looks (see 1311, etc). What would be closer to idea is the Mud Puppy LE design with a 3.75-4" blade of .15-.17" thickness, no choil (ideal), elf choil (Rodent Solution) or a usable choil (Rodent 4). Also, an exposed tang end (to pound on) would minimize damage to the mudders.
Oh Dan, if you're listening to the howling of the dogs, remember how popular the Hairy Carry LE was for Swamp Rat, but I think SY could do better. Maybe you could find some INFI scraps in the yard!
