Yes, of course, this knife was designed to be a fighter but it is so much more. The blade shape itself is a classic that has been used for a long time as a camp knife, a skinner, and general all around utility knife. Ah, the Magnum Camp. Nice knife. It also is a full flat ground bladed knife that is quick in the hand and will chop a lot better than you would think. Mine is one of the original Black Jack knives satin bladed edition. It's a nice knife.

Oh and MINE has a hole in the blade near the choil that allows the use of the Kenny Rowe designed pin lock sheath.
