I just traded into a desert SOD to accompany my desert DF. Used it yesterday on a camp out. It works like a much larger knife. I absolutely love that blade. Ran it and my MOAD through their paces chopping all sorts of wood to feed a campfire for 30 people. Both still shaving sharp on the sweet spot. SOD, DF, and MOAD--now THAT's a large-knife trifecta
