i always thought that the green was sort of a glowing nuclear waste type green. like if you found the source that caused the zombism it would most likely be a gelatinous substance spilling out of a 100 or so 50 gallon oil cans and pulsating a glowing version of that color. you know... something you'd find behind a golden coral over by where they keep the meat!
