WOW…. I am relatively new here but was drawn in by pics of Yard blades posted on The FAL File by my mates sportsnut and RT …. I remember seeing the pics of their first mudder handles blades and thinking “they look interesting”. There were photo threads on the FAL Files about knives/guns with meals and more than a couple of Scrappers found their way into these as well. I eventually found my way over (just as the 511 was to be released (as sportsnut had given me a heads up on this one) and so started an addiction…
Board events…. well I have to say that the whole process that lead to the Fairy Dog Mother
was pretty special (so was the box with 8 of them inside that arrived at my place eventually).
What I do like – as is the case with the whole Busse Clan – is the direct connection that this (and the other) forum gives us right to the people responsible for the knives, not a company rep or spokesman but to the men and women who are right there where they are made/marketed and shipped from. We all know this is a business for the Busse family (bloody good on them for that !!) but the beauty of this whole arrangement is that we (well certainly *I*) never feel like “just a customer”
