I have a staff member who is very traditional (hunts with and competes with a mid 1700's black powder rifle and so forth) who has been encouraging me to "get into" archery. I've owned equipment in the past, but never devoted enough time to it.
My wife has expressed interest in a recurve so it could be something we'd do together.
The problem I face is...I know just as much about archery as I do about the surface of the moon.
Once you have it in your head that traditional archery is for true hunters, and the best bows are made from wood and glass your well on your way.
