Just got Patty back from the hospital following a Snow/ice storm ride in a ambulance to the ER.

She started screaming and doubled over in pain Sunday morning while getting ready for church.

Following about an hour and 15 minute Ambulance ride (that should have taken about 25 minutes) she was diagnosed as having a bile duct blockage. The Bile duct from her liver to the stomach or intestine, wherever it goes .

Tests Monday, and another one Monday night. Dr never came by.

Ordered another test Tuesday and finally came by. He told them that he would make a plan of action after the Tuesday test, which was gonna consist of going down her throat, through the stomach and into the bile duct, remove the obstruction and put in a stint if needed.

Wed. did the operation, removed a 6mm "Stone" from the 4mm duct that was causing bile to build up and "Enlarge" her liver. Wasn't able to come home last night but got home about noon today.

It's nice to be home. Now I gotta go back to work tonight and I will have a TON of warrants to QC!
