Yeah, the surgi-sharp leather belt makes it so, SO easy! [Linked Image]

I started out about 3 years ago, and practiced on some junk kitchen knives I bought cheap at goodwill. Next, I took the plunge and did my Battle Guard, Mini Mojo, and Waki. I was pretty happy with the results!

I do all my edges this way now. So fast, so easy, SO sharp!!!

I use 3M Trizact belts in 220 grit, 600 grit, then a Norton Norax belt in 1,200 grit before going to the leather belt with green chromium oxide polishing compound. (grit sizes are from memory, I am not 100% sure if those are completely correct; but they should be close) I've been really happy with mny edges that way.

Only other thing I can say is keep practicing.
