I just finished the Space Wolves Omnibus. I can't seem to get enough of the Warhammer 40k books. Long ago I used to collect, paint and played the table top version. Lots of gratuitous violence and non stop action. For in the grim dark of the far future, there is only war. Who wouldn't love it. I also like the Black Library's tag line...Read till you bleed. Another plus is the fact that the Omnibus editions, usually 3 collected books, only run between $10.99 and $11.99.

My current favorite though is the Horus Heresy series from Warhammer 40k. Kinda cool to see the history and how it all went down.

Just finished "Faith of the Fallen" by Terry Goodkind and now reading "The Pillars of Creation" by Terry Goodkind. They are books 6 and 7 in the "Sword of Truth" series. They are fantasy books with kind of a dark graphic side.

Those are great books, kinda slowed a little bit from the first few, and I haven't read the latest book but a good read. I'm just waiting for Richard to fully become the War Wizard they hinted at in Temple of the Winds.

Oblivion...YIKES! I ended up tearing out my video card and Oblivion and sent them both to my younger brother for X-mas. Couldn't handle it anymore. Started to consume me, plus I think burned myself out on Star Wars Galaxies. Never again!

But reading is my greatest passion followed by my guns and knives. I have a virtual library of fantasy works. Started reading the Wheel of Time when the first book was published...almost 20 years later and there is at least one more book in the works.

For those who like the fantasy stuff, try Steven Eriksons' The Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Very good stuff! And if you don't want to wait for the books to come out, the UK editions are about 4 books ahead of the US editions.
