I had picked the Gryphon to beat the Becker and the RAT, but they chopped better. I have a Becker Brute. It has a 1/4" thick recurve with a forward weighted blade, but the Becker Combat Bowie chops better. Go figure. The proof is in the actual using of a blade. I have had a lot of surprises in chop offs.
