that smith is hot. does the airweight frame add a lot of kick? Its the only .38 that I've ever shot. It sure makes ankle carry comfortable though, being so light. I don't really "shoot" much with it like I do the Glock or 1911. I've put maybe 50 rounds through it. Not accurate past 15 feet or so, and the +P loads will surely add some kick as well. Its a perfect concealed carry pistol though. It even rides in a pants pocket and doesn't show much profile since it isn't blocky at all. Hey Diceman, nice S&W! I have that same model but with Crimson trace laser grips, its a great gun!

I was sitting here a few minutes ago w/ the Dumpster Mutt thinking about its use as a skinner - and for some reason had my left pants leg rolled up (I really don't know why) - dropped the knife, and it went deep in to my calf! There was actually skin and hair on the knife when I picked it up. Nothing a bandaid can't fix I guess, but its going to leave a hole when it heals up! Puncture wounds are cool - or not!

Hmmm... I don't know of anything online really. Gunbroker.com maybe. What model are you looking for?

I've done a little throwing since Dark Norseman had that thread. Its fun, but I don't know if I'll ever be proficient. Static Throwing seems to make the most sense though, after doing some reading, as you can throw from varying or unknown distances using one technique.
