I just bought a tomahawk because there are no Scrap Yard tomahawks. And hopefully my proxy can land a Hammer Polled KDSH for me at Blade.

Yes, I'm on a 'hawk kick.

I saw the first two pics and said "Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about". Then I scrolled down and threw up. wink

You KNOW which one I'm talking about!!! laugh

Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman are two VERY sharp ladies; I voted for Sarah last time, even though she was partnered with McCain. I would vote for a ticket which included Michelle Bachman as well; I believe those two ladies would do a LOT of good for our country! wink

They are beautiful women - especially considering they're getting older. They've kept themselves up nicely.

I can't say that for the other side....

Back when I first started collecting, or hording, or obsessing over Busse(kin) knives the releases weren't that frequent, and didn't stay available for long.

The business model seemingly changed now that there are a few semi-permanent offerings:

Busse: TGLB has been around for a couple of years
Swamp: RMD is still up
Yard: the 11 series continues to grow and stay up

I wonder if this is a change in business practice, if the knives are selling so poorly (or well) that they're keeping certain models available or some other reason?

Personally, I liked the old model better. It built excitement. I don't' like having an omnipresent offering to consider. I'd prefer the build up and delivery of something new, unique, and time sensitive. It created an atmosphere of energy and excitement. Now its, "oh they released the same knife with an orange handle - its in the store if you're interested".

Does anyone agree?

Remember when you never knew what was coming next? Now, you sort of have a pretty good idea of what's coming.
