I'm curious what you define as a "bushcraft knife", and which you own or would want to try?

Mora Bushcrafter and the Light My fire knife.
Also the 411, my "Gunny" (can't remember who makes it) and I would even include my Wardog and S5.

BUT for me the 5 inchers are stretching it. I think (and NO I don't know why) 4-4.5 inch is Bushcrafter length.

The more I think about it, the more I like the SR Vex. I need to find someone willing to trade their Vex for a pile of my gear. I really think this is a design I'd like to try.

I think it might make it on my short list of "must haves".

My LBK from Koyote Knives is king of the heap for me. Best all around knife I own. And that starts at the handle for me- a knife has to have good ergos. I have been having an itch for a Survive GSO 4...people seem to love them. Nothing wrong with my Howling Rat either.

I thought you'd post that beauty. I agree with your interested in Survive knives. They've come on strong lately.

No doubt, my Vex is my top choice, as a Bushcraft knife. I have the one offered at Blade '13. That one has more belly than the original one. It is just a super tough knife! And the grind makes it glide effortless through wood.

I have an original Vex (D2 I think they were) and a new version (that is still in the US). For smaller tasks I like the NMFBM of course...
