I am just now to the point (well for a few years, although I still like me some big blades) where I am appreciating the smaller blade. For MOST of us a smaller blade is just the better option for every day lifestyle and use. I mean really,(me included) how many of us REALLY need to carry a 7 plus inch blade "Out there" during normal activities. I mean just hiking in familiar areas/known dangers and good weather. ..... yep, I like little blades.... my FFBM is my latest smaller blade, I keep the NMFBM handy for getting the crud out from under my nails after working in the yard…. I should probably get something middle sized …like a MOAB for heavier work…

Randy, Here's a couple of pictures to show the size of a Leaner Meaner compared to a Swamp Warden, High Street, and Boss Street.... ![[Linked Image from i60.tinypic.com]](http://i60.tinypic.com/11kjxo9.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i60.tinypic.com]](http://i60.tinypic.com/r9h561.jpg)

Hmmmmm If I had that LM and just took a file to it removing the Talon hole and blending it in with the pixy choil, then I'd have a choil you could actually use.......
