Rich, Absolutely. Its my choice in an EDC knife for "normal life". Its a small knife so it isn't in the same category as say a 711, SOD, TGLB, etc. However, not many people can walk around sporting a 7" fixed blade. As such, I really like the design of the LM. It is, in my opinion, the best small INFI available.
I really like the HS I have for sale too. If it had a coated blade I'd keep it.

Man, there's a SAR5 on the ex that's calling my name but I can't swing it right now. ARRRRGGGHHH! Aaaaaaand it's gone. Wasn't it $300? That's a great price for 5" of Infi.

Well, the SAR5 is the "ugly duckling" of the Busse line (or so many people say). I think its handsome in its simplicity, but I'm turning into more of a user than a collector.
I may never find out though, because my SAR5 has apparently been lost in the mail. It was shipped on May 29th, and was last logged on May 30th. It was scheduled for delivery on June 2nd (Monday), but hasn't been seen since last Friday.
It was shipped "signature insured" so hopefully it'll show up. I'd much rather have my knife than an insurance refund.

I have the worst post office ever. Something like what you're describing happens with about 60% of the packages sent to my address, including my most recent one. They always show up, VERY LATE, so I've never had to file a claim. The tracking on one package showed "signed for", then it showed up a week later.
Hopefully yours shows up.

Our local post office is a different story. We live outside a town with a population of 780 so when we go into the post the Post Master knows us by sight, and goes back to get our packages without so much as asking our names. On occasion, she's even put a post-it on our mail to pass along a message, LOL.
Our mail delivery lady does a good job. Its 1.4 miles round trip from the road (where our mail box is located) back to our house on a very rough private gravel road. She has to make that trip more often than she probably wants. However, she always gets out and talks to us about our chickens, garden, fruit trees, whatever project we're working on that day. She's even offered to stop by the house on her way home if she tries to deliver a "signature required" item during a day we're not home.
Small towns have charm.

My wife's youngest sister visited recently, and we took her into town. Several sellers at the farmer's market remembered her, as did the local pub keeper, and the ice cream parlor proprietor remembered where she's going to school (and her scholarship info, etc). Her last visit was a year ago.
The flip side of this is if you do something stupid - everyone knows and will never forget.
Sidebar: my youngest sister-in-law is 21 years my junior. Weird, huh?

Back on Bushcraft knives...
I used a hairdryer to better fit one of our Vex's sheaths last night. It had almost zero retention before, but now retains well. I used tape on the blade to give a little more room in that area.
Hopefully I'll make some time to start testing again.

My wife's Vex is Tanker Grey with Black & Blue G10. She likes it.
My Vex is Jungle Green with Greyish Tan & Green G10. I don't like the color, and wish I would have bought one with a Sage blade.
If I find a Sage blade (my favorite color) Vex I'll probably it, and pass the JG down the line.

Gary, do have any preference in handle material? I like canvas or linen micarta because it offers better grip, it's lighter, and doesn't feel cold. For me, the only benefit that G10 offers is that it is attractive.

I like canvas, paper, G10 for their virtues...
Canvas feels great but absorbs hand oil and blood. Paper looks good and is less absorbant but slick when wet. G10 is very tactile, and nonabsorbant but expensive.
G10 can be slick too (depending on the cut).
This is an issue I haven't resolved internally. I own all three and go thru a mental analysis just about everyday.
