I just wish they would start selling the Bowie!!!
Back on topic, the shipping on my knife actually cost $8.10, as someone else mentioned. It seems the few who incur higher costs (international) is costing the rest of us almost twice as much. $8.10 should cover the "lower 48" compared to what the Yard is charging. The "flat shipping charge" does seem rather excessive. Perhaps Dan or Patti could address the issue? Tom

Personally I think the wy shipping charges are done here at the yard are a bit unfair for some. However there is another way to look at it. I did and don't feel horrible about it anymore (although it could still be a tad lower IMO)
They could lower the shipping charge and charge more per knife to make up for it? Either way you should just look at the total price shipped to your door. Does the price seem reasonable? If so, be happy. How the total is broken up doesn't really matter does it? However, I do agree about combining shipping on multiple items using the flat rate boxes. It just makes sense.

I think I mentioned it already, but what REALLY bugs me isn't the actual shipping charge, but there is no notice of how their shipping charges are calculated. IF this was an error, I'd like to get it corrected, if not, I'd just like the peace of mind of knowing what to expect for future orders, and how their shipping is calculated. Seems fair to me. Most commercial websites explain all of this. IMO, Busse and divisions should have more of this disclosed.

Yep OVERSEAS shipping makes your eyes water... Paul, you really ought to contact Busse Germany to see if they could start carrying rats and Scappers. It only seem fair! And it should save you money, right?

At least the knives are great value for money even if the shipping stings.. If I can order from Busse Germany and save money that'll be great!

Fingers crossed on that one for future INFI or the bowie if my tenuous restraint slips!
