I wanted to start a thread so that we could discuss any and all things gun related, that is why I'm keeping the topic very general. If you have something in particular you want to discuss and want feedback that is more specific to your topic then don't hesitate to start a new thread. I'll add a few pics to get some conversation going. Please note that I am not a photographer and I am using my 2 year old phone in my kitchen with overcast natural lighting coming through the window. If this thread dies.....it dies (Rocky IV reference).

I'll chime in...just got a rifle I've wanted for a good while- CZ 527 in 762/39. Feels like you are holding a 10/22 it's so light.
Can't wait to get it out!

Adam, Very nice collection. The Smiths are particularly attractive in this age of polymer autoloaders.
Rich, I regret selling my two CZ 452's (22LR and 22WMR). CZ makes a VERY FINE rifle!!!!

Neat table, BTW.
I've been struggling with the decision to sell my last AKMs. I shipped my two SLR-107FR to the FFL handling the transfer for their buyer just this morning. That leaves me with (3) SLR-106FR (5.56) to sell. I keep wondering if I'd be better off keeping them and selling my ARs. Since I have FN Scars (my go to primary guns) I find the AR15 design redundant. The AKM, on the other hand, is so crude and simple it serves a slightly different purpose: end of the world beater.
I will not keep both the ARs and AKs. One has to go. We simply don't need 250,000,000 rifles.

I hope I didn't inadvertently turn this into an AK vs AR debacle. Both are good designs, but they are from different philosophical approaches.

This made me chuckle. Rich - I remeber you talking about that rifle a while back. I'm interested in seeing your range report. I had a Ruger Mini-Thirty that I really liked, but I sold it because I was afraid to run Russian ammo through since they load theirs with .309 - .310 diameter bullets. Gary - Thank you. I bought the 29 - 2 kind of as a novelty, but now I love that gun. The 325PD is my carry pistol for the moment. Now I'm looking at a Kahr CM45 if they ever make it to the market.

I can't wait. Tomorrow I interview with a social/civic club that has an outdoor range, so the timing is great.
seems to be a rifle made to shoot inexpensive ammo well. Bought a couple hundred rounds of 154 grain soft points...that is a deer stopper.

Adam, thank you for starting this thread! So, that being said, here's my two babies I keep talking about. Yeah, I really like these shotguns. First up is the PA459-TR with Dark Reaper (skull pattern) camo. Next up is the semi auto version. Basic black. They are light weight, about 6.5 pounds and fast handling. They have screw in chokes (benelli or beretta mobile choke systems) and they have really good (soft) recoil pads. Who needs a 12ga.

Three what? Squirrels?
I like your shotguns, Randy. They're manufactured in Turkey, correct?
