I hope that farmer had the utilities located, or he's going to be out very very very serious money on having a FO line repaired. We had a contractor damage one on a job site two years ago, and it was over $15,000 to fix.

Has an unsharpened swedged clip point too, very stabby with a rather fine tip. Also worth noting is this variant features a round choil and a parkerized finish. Very cool……. smile

Definitely worth checking out if you come upon a good deal for one…….. smile

Actually, I plan on selling the green-handled one; I'm keeping the gray-handled one for myself. wink

They look nice.

I think I remember Jerry saying the deep dish hollow grind is done on a small wheel. If the wheel was huge then the grind would be shallow.

That makes sense, now I'm questioning whether Dan said deep dish or I'm just imagining it now…...

I do love the ones with the gray handles, gray is just my color of choice 99% of the time anyways as it just plain looks good with everything IMO.

It feels very good in the hand. And since I rarely put my thumb on the top of a big blade, the top guard is not an issue. I'll have to take my other Regulators out and see if this new one is the new favorite. grin
