I hate chiggers and I will agree with GF about the nether regions.
We always used clear nail polish on them.

When Chiggers get to the nether regions....you are in for days of intense itching and scratching and discomfort of unknown proportions!!! They are the devil's finger! They delight in the nether regions. I have been miserable for three days! During the Summer, DEET is a must for this area. You can bet I got some. Can u put deet on your nether regions? I never used deet so i don't know if it burns , it smells , oily , ect.

Can u put deet on your nether regions? I never used deet so i don't know if it burns , it smells , oily , ect. If you spray clothing, and all exposed skin (save for the face) you should be OK.

I've had great luck with chigger-X. It doesn't stop the little sh!ts from bitting you but it works great for the itching.

I have never tried DEET on the nether regions, but I think it is too harsh. Its like the old joke, "Do you smoke after sex?" Gee I don't know....never looked. One day, if I am still able, I will leave this bug-infested area and move to a more temperate climate.

No chiggers up here! However the mosquitos are big enought to require a shotgun for defence! The blackflies are smaller, however they will work in gangs to carry off animals and small to medium sized children.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

One day, if I am still able, I will leave this bug-infested area and move to a more temperate climate. Come down this way HornDog, hardly any bugs, lots of Outdoor ops, just about any terrain you can think of, mountains, deserts, canyons, plains you name it!! and any citizen can still get a CCW or carry unconcealed with nothing.
